Asgard’s Wrath 2 is Meta's first AAA title and is hailed as the most ambitious VR game ever created. Yet, the reality is different—VR remains a niche platform.
So, how do you introduce the world to a game that requires a headset most people don’t yet own? For the launch of Asgard’s Wrath 2, we showed gamers just how real VR can be. Using a massive 3,000 sq. ft. invisible screen, we brought the Asgardian gods and monsters from the game to life outside The Game Awards.
The experience was so realistic it sparked online conspiracy theories, speculating that NASA was conducting secret tests and Project Blue Beam was imminent.
By turning VR into real-life reality, we brought the Loki's chaos of the game into the physical world.
